4/6 at last look, last night, but one waiting for me at 7 this morning. Noooobody lays that early at my house!
I'm guessing yesterday might have been a 5 egg day, after all.
4/6 but one was the biggest egg I have ever seen!!! Guessing a double yolker (or even triple!)
After their perfect day yesterday, I guess a couple of them needed the day off!
Still, not a bad haul, for their last day of the third week of laying!
Bright Blessings
Rachel'sFlock :
4/6 and very respectable eggs, today!
Strike that! Make that 5/6 very respectable eggs.
I have a late layer who had not yet weighed in!
3rd 5 egg day!!!!
5/6 again, today, but a weird egg day.
One was super-dark brown and the size of a quail egg (guessing #6's first effort???) and one rolled out of overstuffed nest (thanks, honey, for all the mounds of comfy bedding) and landed in the grit/shell bowl and broke.
They ate it.
I was concerned...
3/6 for the third day in a row.
But look what we made this week:
we completed our first dozen a week ago, but we couldn't stop eating them long enough to have 12 at once!!!
Brightest Blessings!
2/6. Alice and Molly were in the box together today, and it was the cutest thing, ever.
A third, unknown (or perhaps more than one) has been laying an egg every other day, for the past week. So we have had a few 3 egg days.
They have also, collectively, finished their second dozen, this week...
1/6.
Again.
C'mon, Ladies! Help AliceAnne out a little!
(but if we count every egg, including Molly's no-shell one, today's egg made our first dozen! Pretty good effort for the first 10 days!)
Bright Blessings
