Sorry to be breaking the 100% streak, but it was still a great day for us! We got 15 out of 22 ... Possibly there is another one out there by now. I Think that is a new record for us. Everyone is doing good and they are all very healthy. YAY!!!
9/23 - which is better than I expected. Yesterday we got 15/23 which is a new record for us(I think). I wasn't expecting big numbers today - but 9 is more than I anticipated; so I am happy!
11/23 ... not bad really. We are averaging about 9 eggs a day now. No added lights, increased their protein levels with treats and snacks, and increased area to free-range. Can't wait until summer when things really start progressing!!
One coop had 7/7(only 1 sexlink in that group), the other had 3/16 Hmmm... weird, eh? Wonder what is up with that?! Anyway, 10/23 is pretty nice for the winter months; I'll take it!
Four yesterday, and 1 so far from this mornings collection. I suspect there will be at least one or two more by this evening. The girls have been on increased protein and more frequent free ranging - and I am beyond thrilled with getting eggs from them once again!!! I love my BA's - they...
I Wish I was back in business!!! If we get 2 a day we are lucky. Out of 20 laying hens - this is ridiculous!!! All appear healthy and happy. On holiday, I guess.
Our highest count was 10 in one day - today it was 8. Which has been a pretty typical number lately. Not everyone is laying though. One day we should be collecting over a dozen a day - which takes into consideration for not everyone laying every day.
I collected 12 today. But, I think that since I only got to collect eggs once yesterday, that some were from yesterday. I probably only Really got 8 today. Still, it was a good day - considering my girls are still relatively young. We now have 3 doz. eggs in the fridge, and I just gave away...
Our first day ever getting 6 eggs!!! Two are from our new EE layers, one was from a new BO layer, and three were from our regular gals the famous BA ladies. I'm so proud of them. Can't wait until tomorrow to see if there are any new surprises to find in the nest boxes.
