3 out of 9 yesterday and will be curious to see if any lay today since it snowed and we don't usualloy get snow in the high desert. This is the first I've seen in the 5 years we've lived here. It's so pretty though.
I'm getting 2-3 a day from my pullets, I have four, a Wellsummer, a blue Andalusian and two Blue Laced Wyandotte's. My five other hens are giving me one or two a day.
Out of 6 laying hens I got three yesterday and the four pullets gave me three. The eggs from them are still small but colorful, white, brown and milk chocolate brown.
I lost two hens this summer due to heat and smoke from a brush fire so I have six layers left but I'm only getting two to four eggs a day. I'm hoping the other two will go back to laying soon. In my other coop I have four pullets that will be at 20 weeks this coming Saturday so they should...

I only got 5 out of 9 today. It's a beautiful day here in the desert since the wind died down. I spent a lot of time outside in the garden but didn't plant anything. I did do some prep work and painted the frame for the fence to separate the iris bed from the veggie patch. If it's nice...
