She is a lovely little lady. On the smaller side, hovers just under 4lbs. I looked through all my chicken pictures and generally found her photo bombing her sister. LOL One of my favorites of the two of them.- FlyingNunFarm

Not the best picture of my Wheaten girl. She's in a pretty rough molt so don't tell her I shared this picture. ;) You can see the darker Wheaten color on her neck and wings but she also has black mixed in on her flight feathers and tail. (Which is missing) She has a few grayish fluff feathers...- FlyingNunFarm

I have a Wheaten Ameraucana hen with dark markings on her wings and tail. Not the shoulder area but in the flight feathers. I was told that it's a female if the chest doesn't have dark feathers. Based on that and the comb I'd say pullet. I also have had her Wheaten sister be aggressive with me...- FlyingNunFarm
