    Unhappy day, cockerels must go

    Part of chicken keeping, and I hate it too. some of my boys go to homes, and some go to the freezer, and that's not a bad end, really. Feeding a family is a good thing, right? Turning chickens out to 'make do' on their own, is a death sentence, and not a good way for them to end, IMO. Mary
