    I drove 2 1/2 hours each way to go get my ducks. Some of mine will be pets and kept for eggs, some will be for food. I'm building a decent size pond in their yard and they will be able to free range and help keep pests down in our garden.

    Lol I understand, some people just can't. I use to raise cattle on a ranch and part of my wages was a steer or two every year. I named them food, t-bone, and hamburger to get used to the idea. Don't worry when I get my goats they will be for the milk only

    Not yet. There is a local breeder in my area that has Acona & khaki Campbell ducks. I prefer the aconas because they are great layers 218-280 eggs a year and I heard they were the most flavorful of all duck varieties.     Cackle hatchery has a wide variety of ducks but they won't sex them for you. I don't speak from experience only researching their website. I got my aconas locally.
