Not that it's my business :D but what is your small business? If you care to share. Does your insurance carrier know about these dogs yet? That can get tricky. Have you had and trained dogs in the past? Yes, LGD have great instincts..... but all dogs need some training, really. ;)- aart

Right. Maybe I should have spelled my sentence out better. Maremma wander less(more likely to stay home)...and they bark less.....than Pyrenees.- aart

Maremma both wander and bark less than Pyrenees. Your dogs are house dogs, they don't live outside 24/7/365?- aart

Welcome to BYC @Dr.Dale ! 5 acres isn't much for Pyrenees. Do you have a perimeter fencing to keep them home? Do you plan on having other livestock? Do you know they can bark incessantly all night long? There is some great info and very experienced people on LGD's and training them here...- aart
