However, some hens also have spurs, especially in game breeds, so that's no surefire way to sex a chicken.- HorseFeathers

Fresh Eggs is correct. The roosters will have much longer tails and larger combs/wattles than the hens. Plus they will crow. With this in mind should be pretty obvious, but if you're still stumped post in the "What Breed Or Gender Is This?" section.- HorseFeathers
