I got my 2 blrw's today! That puts me up to 11 birds in my kitchen! And I blame carcar and every single one of you on the forum! When I joined I was happy with my 4 little birds outside, then BAM! Now I have an incubator and eleven chickens in the kitchen.... Does anyone have BCM chicks for sale?

I read lots of different things about lockdown humidity. I tried to stay between 70 and 80% the last three days. I tried to not let it go over 80 at all. The four that made it to lockdown all hatched out today. I had 6 total but one was for sure an early quitter and I think the other one...

That's great news! DO they go to the roosts? A few of mine still just lay in the shavings to sleep. Now if we could teach them to open and close their own doors then all would be perfect lol

Tomorrow is lockdown day! We're going to get a brooder set up today. Need advice on brooder bulbs. Do most of you actually use the red brooder bulbs from TSC or is something else acceptable? I bought a pack but I'll be nervous about when they're on and I'm not here, do they really need that much...
