Lilith nodded, placing Gail on the sofa to fall asleep some, then returned to Falcon's side, holding his limp hand loosely, hoping he would remember who she was when he awoke.
Lilith walked over to the small child and placed a hand on her head softly, whispering in a comforting voice "What's wrong little girl? Why are you crying?" She knelt down so she was level with the little one.
Lilith looked away. She wasn't about to watch some brain if she didn't have to. Instead, she returned downstairs to put the dart gun back, hoping it would be nonchalant enough an excuse not to watch.
Lilith let him go and sprinted for the gun. Once she retrieved it, she made sure it was loaded and fired one in Falcon's back, aiming at him with another dart loaded just in case there was more fighting.
Lilith looked up and yawned. She slowly woke to men screaming in the house. She quickly stumbled over to Matt with an angered look, one that faded into shame and sadness as she saw Falcon.
Lilith looked at him sadly as she slowly passed out once again. She felt a pang of compassion for Matt, who had to release the girl, and drag both of them over to his base. She never wanted Falcon to be angry with her, he was the only family she had. She loved him, and seeing him angry made her...
Lilith winced as the dart hit her, but quickly reacted by pushing him to the floor, holding him pinned as best she could so Matt could shoot him and tranquilize him like he had done her. She shouted for the man, growing wearier as she struggled to keep him pinned.
Lilith exited the alley, smiling as she saw Falcon, which quickly faded into a frown as she saw the child near him. Some nervousness settled in. She called out nervously "Falcon?", hoping for an answer.
