I'm originally from Florida, ST. Pete/Tampa Bay area... and I still have family in Pineapple (Pinellas) Park!

Anyone up for sharing some pics of their plants?! I'm gonna head out and take some pics of our strawberry plants. Even though it snowed earlier this week, the plants are sprouting and SO green topped!!!

HI KIDS!!!
I've been checking out some gardening apps and programs and think I have found one I could recommend:

There is a 7 day free trial, and then you can purchase the program for 1 or 2 years. This link is NOT an...
OK, let's all do a check in! Are we getting out and getting in the seeds we're swapping? Anyone need a poke or a nudge or anything? Anyone new with requests and/or offers? Anyone able to start providing starts/cuttings off their bushes and/or bulbs?
Sound Off! :wee
I'd happily donate some seeds for your seed library... I think that is a wonderful idea! I believe that a seed swap has happened here on BYC in previous years but it dies/died down so Capricorn was nice enough to get a new thread started.

Yes ma'am! Make sure you put down your grow zone for possible tips and tricks. Also, you can swap seeds with someone, or you can ask for a bit of $$$ if what YOU are offering would be more than the price of a stamp or 2 (like tulip bulbs, which I'm interested in!!!)
ISO:
Berry bush cuttings ~ prefer strawberries, blueberries and blackberries
Anything differently colored (like purple carrots, orange broccoli, plaid spinach, etc)
Edit to add:
Any type of bush beans
ANY type of flower/bushes, ANY COLOR!!!!
Anything YOU might think I'd like! :D
I'M IN...
I live in Hopkinsville KY.. the only thing we ever see growing is wheat and corn. Seriously. We don't have a local farmers market to speak of, as the last time we went it was LITERALLY 11 or so stalls, and only 1 person was selling any vegetables... and they looked sad and sickly.
We've only...
Currently, we are up in the air about whether to make raised bed gardens while tilling and prepping the actual area we want for a regular garden (doing prep work so we can sow directly into the ground next year), or if we till and mix in enough compost, mulch, fertilizer, it would be ready to go...
I just bought a type of amaranth SIMPLY because I like the variety name.... and I have never thought about growing amarath, never read up about amaranth, and have eaten amaranth a total one 1 time.... yeesh
Never looking at the website again.... ::: this week ::::oops:
So, debating on just placing another quick order through Bakers Creek since I am really wanting to try and grow some kohlrabi. It's gonna be the same amount of shipping no matter what, so wanna toss out some seed ideas I can buy and share? Anything not previously listed by anyone???
