Well okay thank you. Not exactly sure if it is Dunlap that they got the chicks from but good information.

Okay yes I know, we have had trouble with this in the past. Hoping they are true Ameraucanas but thinking there is a good chance they are EE's.

Well not sure what to think now. When the store ordered them they said that they used to have mix ups with EE's but were fixing the problem now. She said that they buy their EE's from one hatchery and their Americaunas from one hatchery and have had true Americaunas from that hatchery. I...

The feedstore we got them from said it was a reputable hatchery that they have had true Americaunas from. If they do turn out to be EE's I'll love them anyway though.

Aw thanks, I think so too! Americauna chicks are adorable with their little beards and muffs. I will post more to this thread in a couple weeks to ask about color again and for a cuteness update:)

Thank you:) We always try to do a theme every year to make it easier to decide on names. Our first batch of "Americaunas" (EE's actually) had classic names like Hazel so we decided to do the same with these guys.

Oh okay thank you RiverOtter and Sylviethecochin. That is okay I think that splash is very pretty as well. Thanks for all the help I am excited to watch them grow up. Does anyone know what the last chicks color might be? A variation of brown maybe?

We just purchased some Americauna chicks yesterday and I am already eager to know what colors they are. I know it is pretty early but I was hoping some of you color experts out their would have some guesses. They are a few days old. I think I know what colors one or two of them will be but...
