I have 3 going. 2 for day one to 18. And 1 as the lock down. It seems easier to me.

I thought the same thing. Since they didn't pip at all they died in their shell. It couldn't be helped. Thanks for your concern.

I don't recommend it. Sometimes they will die in the shell if you do. It's very, very hard to do without injuring the chick. If the umbilical cord breaks it will bleed to death. You have to be :welcomeable to determine if it will be able to do itself. I've lost some and saved some. By the way...

Have a total of 47 eggs in the incubator. Silverlace wyndottes, silkies and easter eggers. 13 set 02/25. 8 set 2/27 and the rest set in march from the 1st through10. I dropped my incubator taking it down from the shelf. Had trouble getting the turner to eork but it's working now. I'll have to...
