More laid back sounds like a win. Our most friendly birds are the ISAs. I wish I could find more with that kind of personality!
I was thinking about Brahmas in the future though I don’t know much about the breed. I really dig big birds! Especially out here in the wilderness. Idk, I just feel they are safer? Probably wishful thinking.
Cool! I will be glad if she is a hen even though I was stating to really love the idea of a BJG roo. The breed is just so awesome to me. That sheen. :love Oh, I can’t wait to see them grow and fill out. It blows my mind a little that they are such an unpopular breed. :idunno

Ok, here is that picture of her light colored feathers. Is it too early to see the beginnings of where spurs will be? I could be wrong but it looks like little dots on her legs starting where the spurs would be if they were coming. Unless it’s way too early to tell that still and I’m looking to...
Random update. Still too early too tell much. I am noticing the chicken in question is getting more light colored feathers on her (?) head and neck while the other JG is staying darker. I’ll post new pictures soon.
