So, from what I’ve found, you can start with pretty decent, new equipment for about $300. Does this seem right? $45 for centrifuge, $250 for microscope and $10 for supplies.
That’s what my vet would charge for 10 samples, not including my time or mileage. I think that’s a pretty decent...

If I were to purchase equipment to perform basic fecal float tests at home for worms & coccidiocis, what would I need and is it practical? My vet is an hour away and I’d like to treat for these conditions only if needed without having to drive so far to drop off samples.
