Yup - that's your call then. If you like how both feeds are working out, continue with both. If you find that it's a hassle to feed both, then I would just go with the layer pellets.

Feeding just layer pellets should be fine. I do two different feeds (pellet + whole grain mash) as well, since the chickens seem to enjoy it, but they'd be perfectly fine with just the pelleted feed.
