I don't have any roosters so I don't have to worry about broody hens. I get my chicks from Cackle Hatchery and raise them in my brooder in the garage. JT- jthornton

One nest box is all you need for 12 chickens. Here is my plans for my Roll Out Nest Box Mk3. I've had up to 5 pullets in my nest box at one time... JT- jthornton
