    I used to correct curled toes right away by putting 'shoes' on them. Then I figured out that almost every chick will correct themselves within 24 hours. Assisted chicks are the exception and will need shoes more often than not. Patience and a little time will heal a lot of things.

    Pea eggs are much touchier about humidity than chicken eggs. It could have something to do with the shells.

    That was my assumption as well. I think she should get a hydrometer to keep track of the humidity in the incubator.
