No kidding, CW?!?!? Usually it isn't the men that like my soap, but the ladies that are over 40.
I'm stoked!!!
DS stole the salt bar so I don't have feedback yet. I'm still working my way through the last soap swap I was in .... don't expect to hear feedback from me for a few months!!!

Ninja,
How are you adding silk to milk soaps??? Are you using liquid silk?
Before I went to all milk soaps, I would melt the silk fibers in my lye solution. When using all milk for my lye solution, it never gets hot enough to melt the silk.
Thanks!
1 part each of the Citrus EOs to 2or3 parts Black Pepper EO.
Thanks!!! It's the first citrus combo that I've gone gaga over! They all behave so well so I have plenty of time to swirl. I got one scented like it in another swap last year and tried to replicate it.
Better remind him to stay OUT of it.
Hope you had better luck at that than I did! DH & DS know that soaps with palm oil don't like me, so when I get a soap swap box in, they grab it first & look at the ingredients and grab all containing palm ... &$%@#*
Did you all send a bar that is...
I haven't sent my box out yet. I've had it ready since last Saturday but have felt like carp since then. Went to the doctor on Wednesday and found out I have pnuemonia.
I'm antibiotics first time in a decade - boy have they gotten expensive! Box should go out tomorrow.
I suggest for the...

You must grow a ton of herbs to be able to extract the oil!!! Where do you buy your base? I just made small batch of lanolin lotion a week ago. boy-o did it sell out fast ... all to fiber folks that wanted the sheepy smell of the lanolin!!
I don't have an address to mail mine to, or the final count
Mine are ready to go!
Just in keeping with BYC .... my soap contains Chicken Oil!!!!
seriously!
I'll be happy to do so for you. BUT, it will probably be in a month or so after the swap.
I'm one of those firm believers that you really need to let a soap age for a minimum of 6 weeks to bring out it's best qualities. No need for a SASE, I can PM you
Definitely personal use. I couldn't imagine that someone would resale them!!
Although in the past, if I've been involved in a lot of swaps, I have donated soaps to my local woman's shelter.
The small flat rate box for $4.95 is about the size of a VCR tape (5-3/8 x 8-5/8 x 1-5/8) and they don't like bulging packages on the flat rate. It might hold 4 or 5 soaps but not the amount we have.
I think we should go with the 11" X 8.5" X 5.5" box.
I always order shipping boxes from USPS.
Flat Rate is $10.35 plus delivery confirmation.
If you print the labels online at usps.com, you get a discounted flat rate and delivery confirmation is free.
I can put about 9 soaps in a Flat Rate Envelope, $4.95 + DC, but by printing it online, DC is free and the FR Envelope is only $4.80...
Made 3 batches of soap today .... some for the swap, although, maybe I'll use the soaps from last week or the week before ..... Or maybe mix and match!!
