The heat is here again, we hit 112 yesterday according to my thermometer and even with misters, and with the coop and run covered in shade by the big chinaberry tree we lost one of our Orps. She was just a year old this month and one of two broodies we have.

Sorry for your loss, I am right here in the same area as you. Been misting the girls all day. I also have a Roo and 7 4 week olds. All were stressing from the heat but we managed so far. Calling for 109 tomorrow and it is supposed to go down from there. Wish you the best in the coming days.
