    @LulaBell Your question is excellent...just how old can an egg get? Amazingly, I've read from several sources that the average age of a store bought egg is 6 to 7 weeks (or about 45 days). Industry (in most states) requires that eggs be boxed and shipped to market within 30 days (or 4 weeks)...
