When it rains do your chickens go into their coops?
As I said in previous post they only free range an hour before sunset daily. Here is a pic of the comfortable under coop.. It's got light LED bulb summer/ a 43 watt Halogen bulb winter for heat to warm themselves. Water and Oyster Shells are available. It's protected with 1/2 inch hardware...- GC-Raptor

My coop is 30 feet from my house. I can see all of their pen through windows. All the sheltered areas I mentioned when they free range can also be seen from inside my house, except under the deck. I have seen them under it during a storm when I was outside. GC- GC-Raptor

Mine shelter under the raised coop when in their large uncovered pen if it's heavier than a light rain. I let them out to free range an hour before sunset daily. If it starts to rain moderately they will shelter under the nearest shelter. Car, truck, boat or deck. GC- GC-Raptor
