We process out older birds. Those are purposefully done so go in the freezer as intended. Ones that keel over end up in the trash. Our yard is far to small to bury pets in. If they pass and trash day is a long way out I tripple bag and freeze. Yes I set a reminder on my phone for the evening...- 21hens-incharge
