Thats another thing that was funny about it. In their run I put my sons metal sled. It has shallow water in it. That is where Daisy was squatting when Daffy jumped her. I thought he would do it in their pool.
Nope, it was pretty fast and I was inside and just happened to look out the window. My female, Daisy, squatted down and he grabbed her neck and climbed on top her, but it didn't look like he made any contact. She is molting so he did pull some of her neck feathers out. And then he walked away...
Thanks, I will keep an eye out. I know where she will lay them if she is free ranging when she starts.

They are only 3 1/2 months old.
I honestly didn't think he would be ready for this until around 6 months old.
I doubt my female will lay until spring, but we are suppose to have an above average temps this winter.
