Glad to hear she is doing well!
I would probably start tapering the vitamins to every other day and see how that goes for a week, then if she's still doing good stretch them out to every 3-4 days, then once a week.
I think she is flat out spoiled!:)
I would give her 1 Vitamin E daily along with 1/4 ml of vitamin B-Complex (does the liquid contain B1 Thiamine?)
Giving her wet feed may help with the fluids, try that. You can also try holding her neck as shown in the video below so she can drink.
Carol, I have always seen it as 25 mcg (micro grams) instead of mg (milligrams).
25mg would equal 25000mcg, so from what I understand you only want a very small amount of Selenium.
The following link is one of the most commonly used references, but I have seen it mentioned other places as...
Mine love eggs! If your girl does too, then try sprinkling the crushed B Vitamins on top and mixing the E in the eggs - she probably won't notice:)
Oh....don't leave the others out, let them have a separate bowl of eggs, they would like a nice treat too;)
I probably would not use that...I don't know how much Selenium that really contains:oops:
I do know that too much Selenium can be highly toxic, that's why it's recommended that you give foods like egg or tuna for the Selenium part:)
I'm sorry to hear about Bibby.
The symptoms you describe sound like Wry Neck to me. Understand that Wry Neck is a neurological symptom.
Since this is not the first time you have seen this, sadly you may be dealing with Marek's.
Try 400IU Vitamin E along with 1/4 tablet human B-Complex vitamins...
