Speckled Sussex have that? None of my others do.

I’m in southern Wisconsin. Last night was -29.. and the day before that was -20. But the lowest their coop got was 7* otherwise it’s been around 20*. I’ve kept them in the past two days in the coop. With windchill it was -55. Nobody else has this going on.

I thought it was dirt at first also, but it’s not! It’s like the black part is dyed onto her skin. So weird.

I washed, it didn’t work!
