    Well, you have no choice in the matter should your area be one of the zones where they have to cull........ so, better prepare yourself for worse case scenario.

    Please tell us how the process goes as far as getting rid of your birds. And I don't think it would be wise to call in and report your chickens, not only will your chickens get confiscated but so will your neighbors's........ and if they find out it was you, well, you don't want angry neighbors.

    What if you refuse to allow them to come onto your property to round up and kill your birds? Do you get fined? And how much?

    There was an outbreak of the disease 15 years ago and about 3 million chickens were killed/euthanized....... I wonder how long will it take for the affected counties to allow chicken keeping again? I want them to nip it in the bud this time around once and for all!
