No, it will stop the crack from spreading further. But be very careful drilling the hole.

I'd just stick some plastic electrical tape near the bottom edge of both cracks. See how it holds up. Gluing plastic is tricky and risky....could work good or ruin the plastic.

Where is it cracked, post some pics. CA is probably the best bet, many adhesives are not going to stick to plastic long(or short) term.

I use a vacuum with small attachments.

Is the plastic on top of cup keeping the slurry from infiltrating the bag? If so, you may be better off with a smaller slurry container.

I wouldn't put the divider in until lock down when turner is turned off.
