    I have 33 Moyers Imperials out in my Aframe tractor with feed 24/7. Roughly 5 weeks now. I’ll post back at about 9 weeks to see what they dress out at. I would not be happy with 2.5lbs at 9 weeks.

    How do you like the vacuum sealer versus the heat shrink bags? I have only used the heat shrink with whole birds.

    You are correct I have her with the rest of the flock which gets roughly 18-18.5 % protein. I agree much to high for a broiler long term.

    @jolenesdad how is your Moyers red broiler hen hold over doing? Mine is a walking Abrams tank but due to the size I think she has some problems with egg laying causing dirty butt. I don’t think I will hold any others over again.

    I have done both Cornish and the red broilers from Moyers and will be doing more again next spring.

    I have a few Delawares 2 hens and a roo. Nice size but not nearly as big as my Orpingtons. They do grow faster than Orpingtons just not as big. At least the ones I have anyways. I think the Delaware is my favorite bird so they will stay around for awhile.
