    Teresa, I'm sorry things are so hard on you still I'm curious as to why they are sending you to a neurologist for a cyst on your thyroid. Cyst on your brain, neurologist yes. Seems to me they would send you to a endocrinologist for the thyroid. Hang in there.

    Teresa, The EMG is a piece of cake compared to the closed MRI. Basically you just lay there while they "probe" you. The hardest part of it for me was laying on a hard doctor's office table on my stomach. It's really not that bad and the shocks they deliver are not painful. Good luck to you!
