    If that seems wider than normal you could try inserting something to clear the blockage. Do you have a 1 ml syringe or a thin piece of tubing? Or maybe a qtip lubed with KY jelly?

    For me it really helped knowing the relationship between the nostrils, the choanal slit, the glottis, and the trachea.

    The respiratory tract start with the nostrils and from there it goes: choanal slit, glottis, trachea, air sacs and lungs

    I hope you can find someone. If you can't find an avian/exotic, call your local cat/dog/cow/horse vets and ask them if they can help.
