So along those same lines, if I have pale colored chicks with a white spot on the head, but mom hen is not a legbar, are those always male? I'll get a photo in a moment. Actually, mom hen could be a legbar, but roo could be marans or isbar. I guess I have to know who was what? or can I assume...- MontanaChickDoc

If the hen is a white silkie, and the rooster is a crested cream legbar, will the same coloring traits apply as for CCB? ie, will the females chicks be chipmunky, and the males pale yellow with a white dot? I have two...both chipmunky and 5 toes :)- MontanaChickDoc
