I have used Elector PSP for scaly leg mites, in combination with Ivermectin. If the weather is cold, I use just the Ivermectin. I have a subflock that I am still struggling with getting rid of the leg mites. I think you need to clean the coop as well. Good luck with getting rid of those little...
I’m so sorry. The emotional toll when raising chickens can be difficult. If my girl with the Depluming mites was alone, I would likely cull her too. But she’s got a partner who would be lost without her.
Wow, turns out I had six hens with scaly leg mites. What a time saver to treat them at the same time (separate 10 minute soakings) with one gallon of solution of Elector PSP and water. No more back of my mind (and putting off) soakings with Epsom salt and water. Big relief all the way around...
This is awesome, since I have several hens with scaly leg mites. Instead of spraying, you soaked their feet in solution? Is a gallon enough to soak feet? Wondering if I can use solution on all three or four who have? Thank you so much!
