That's really interesting, thanks for the advice! Our five are certainly healthy, and our broody (she's quite young) is doing really well for a first try!
Too true, in fact here's a few pictures...
We ended up cracking the last three eggs, one had not developed right and two were developed but dead, possibly to weak to get out. Oh well, 5/8 is good for a first-timer!
New to the forum but not to chickens: I have been keeping them for 2.5 years now and have thoroughly enjoyed it!
My Pekin Bantam has just hatched 5 chicks and I'm so pleased! They are absolutely gorgeous and I'm hooked already... :p:wee
