Well I ordered some Asil eggs. I think we finally sorted out the incubator problems on the incubators, the incubators we have running now are consistent and working properly. Incubator 1 is clean and ready. 2 & 3… 2 is probably done, we are hoping the Saipan, Spitzhauben and RIR hatch in 3… but...

Bummed the RIR chick failed to thrive despite efforts on our end to help it. RIW eggs not looking like they will hatch. So reorder and try try again… sigh.

So far just the one. I chucked all eggs I thought no good… and they were all no good (cracked them), down to just a few left in incubator so those are in lockdown but I will be lucky to get one RIW too. Cross the fingers folks.

Saw a gorgeous game rooster with his flock of hens off a side road while I was working… wish I could have gotten a picture… I am thinking American Game or mix of game lines… he was almost like an Isabella… just stunning but definitely a game fowl roaming wild with his hens also all game
