I figured it wouldn't be right away with it being winter and all but since my EE waited til she was 10 months old (in the late spring/early summer) to start laying i was hoping i wouldn't have to wait as long with Olivia. I love raising them from babies but it's so hard to wait for them to start...- kristin07035

My girl just turned 5 months old...she is 1/2 fbcm & 1/2 ameraucana...are oe's known to start laying at 6 months or are they like ee's that usually start to lay at 7-9 months old?- kristin07035

What pretty colored eggs! I can't wait for my oe to start laying. Shes only 4 months old. I don't know how many weeks old she is (i purchased her last month as a started 3mo old pullet) but im hoping by jan/feb she starts.- kristin07035

Hi everyone :) one of my girls went broody and I thought instead of breaking her mabye I'd let her hatch some babies. Does anyone have hatching eggs available for sale?
