I just hatched out 18 Marans mixed eggs on the 11th...4 of them had EEs as moms, and 2 were olive eggers that were mixed back with Marans...so I can be part of the olive eggers group... I just got some eggs today that are from an EE hen with marans roosters. I actually started 24 eggs from all manner of hens with a blue copper and black copper maran...Here is my question though...an egg from an olive egger that was bred by a maran's would give me chicks that are 3/4 marans and...- missnu01
