    I have an EE roo (avatar) and several EE and non.EE and EE cross hens. I get a variety of egg colors, but my only olive-ish eggs are really pale, so I recently ordered 2 marans and 2 barnvelder pullets for next hears crosses for olive eggs. Anyone else use barnbelders?

    Thank you .. I knew there was a possibility of an OE or two when I hatched these chicks .. I was THRILLED with the egg .. now I have to slueth and find out who is laying it .. AND figure out how to take better pictures .. color is soooo tricky.

    I'm officially in this club now .. (if I could only tell WHICH hen the egg came from .. lol) I will be picking up another OliveEgger this weekend .. yay!
