Thank you! I absolutely appreciate the honest and all the feedback. I know I have A LOT to learn and I'm looking forward to it. It was a little disheartening though :p. I knew it wouldn't be perfect but I didn't expect it to be that imperfect!
It doesn’t need to have 6 nest boxes, it just came with that many. I can remove one set of them (bringing me to 3) or repurpose that area as something else. The little dividers in the nest box area are remove-able.
I figured either way that I need to add some roosts higher up. While the coop isn’t all that big, I think I can add a couple of different height roosts and remove the bars originally included in the coop.

I’m not sure how’d we go about roof soffits given the current construction (I’ll be pondering this at work today) but a roof vent seems very doable! Thank you for this input! Planning time!

The ventilation will be on both sides but just those sliding door type things. This is might be a silly question but wouldn’t that make it pretty drafty...
