I will try to post images of all 6 of my silkie chicks later today. Other than the straight combs, by what I can tell they have all the other traits (black skin, 5 toes and silkie feathering). Thank you for this info @AngBantamLuv
I have a question, I have 2 silkie chicks out of 6 we got a few months ago that do not have walnut combs. They seem to have straight combs. They are from Hoover Hatchery. Does this mean they're no purebred? Can I rightfully sell there eggs when they are old enough as silkie hatching eggs? Thx,
Thank you for this info. Someone recommended giving them cooked eggs, I will try that along with other stuff. My white ones I don't think will be to hard and hopefully not the grey one. The grey one used to enjoy my company so hopefully with positive training I can bring that back. Thank you.
