Yes!!! You did. I can guarantee you they have a much healthier and happier life. That's kind of what I felt like when we got ours. We put a deposit down for two weeks while we finished the fence the guy called us after a week during a massive rain storm said it was an emergency he get to go to...
Mine have a good reason to be scared. Everybody was around each other just fine until Lucy gave birth. Then she became extremely protective and only us and the chickens were allowed anywhere near her babies. Even though the dogs did not pose a threat. They got one heck of a head but were I was...
That's how they roll. They know their personality and attitude is still bigger. Haha And somehow the cats always seem to get away with it. I have to keep my dogs and goats separated so I understand the feeling except it's the opposite The dogs are horribly afraid of the goats
But hopefully...
Oh I hate animal drama! Cats are just butt heads like that sometimes I think. Probably doing like mine due to all the animals showing them who's boss. I hope the dogs and goats are getting along a little better today. Maybe just a moment of jealousy
Shenanigans is the fun part. I say give it a try. I have one particular doe that acts like a male goat. Sometimes. Maybe it will help him to have another boy around
That is one thing I can see that people like about Nigerian dwarfs. Just like all goats my crew tries to get on anything but if they had gotten on that bench I think would've collapsed by now. Haha.
If youare at all personable with your goats they will do that forever more. They want to tension. Even my oldest one still throws a fit if she can see me outside or through a window and I haven't let them out of there large fenced area. And a few people who live around me that walk down the dirt...
Seems like everyone now has Nigerian dwarf goats. I wanted to get some Nubians in the spring time and I started thinking about Nigerian dwarfs. Then I looked at their size and they're smaller than my dog! I don't know if they would survive too well rounded by unruly bunch
I'm sure that all depends on where you live and possibly the type of coat. I preventative D worm twice a year. And of course if I see problems in between. Once in the beginning of fall and then again once in the beginning of spring. Just for the goats
I have heard about that. I had a couple people want me when I banded Romeo to keep an eye out. Because he may grow some later. I thought that was very weird but apparently possible. Even though Romeo it was banded he gets kind of wacky and a little more bold that time of year
