    Getting Goat kids

Goats will act like they hate each other. That's pretty normal. They will develop a pecking order and routinely spar. It can look terrible, but they need each other.

It's for over eaters disease. It can prevent death in those times when goats eat too much of something. I personally don't vaccinate mine, but have in the past.

Goats don't usually graze too long before they come in to lay and chew their cuds. I'd fill them up on hay than let them out for a bit like you are doing. Leave them out longer each day. I think after a week or two they should be okay. Are they vaccinated for enterotoxemia?

Goats beat each other up. It always took me a long time to integrate new goats into my herd. Glad you found them a new home. Babies will be a much easier thing to increase your numbers, plus way more adorable. :) My goats always have access to the pasture and they build tolerance as it comes...

    Getting Goat kids

Not saying you can't do it, just saying I just never pushed the issue. Scared goats are crazy goats, and they will run you over, or even leap over your head, so be careful. I'd get a halter on them and than work with them, and see how it goes. Hopefully someone more experienced with taming will...

    Getting Goat kids

I've had no luck taming wild goats personally. They need to be handled as kids. Grabbing them could set you back or help. I have no experience pushing it.

Yes. It's near impossible to milk a goat with tiny nipples. I've tried it. Fainting goats are pets. Nigerian dwarf are a mini milk breed, so they will produce more milk and have a bigger mammary system all around. Bigger milk breeds have even bigger ones. It's all about breeding for the ease of...

Coughing in goats can be pneumonia, or lung worms. Both are easily treated.

    Getting Goat kids

Goats are browsers. They will eat trees, rambles, shrubs, and strip bark off of trees before choosing to eat grass. Grass has to be the only option. They also don't graze down short. They leave about 6-8 inches of grass unless they have no choice. So if you don't confine your goats they will...

    Getting Goat kids

I don't have a 100 acres, only 40. Goat pasture is only 1-2 acres, but could be smaller. Just saying goats don't need extra feeds to survive.

    Getting Goat kids

With temperatures warming all goats can be maintained on pasture, which is cheap or free if you have the land.

Mom will already be weaning them herself anyways. By 8 weeks she will only let them nurse a few seconds at a time generally. If you are worried just hold them back another week or two before selling them.
