    I had kind of a similar situation with fox except the fox was killing then going for another bird and killed it and on and on. I chased it off but it made the mistake of coming back. I had leg traps set with a body of one of the birds in the middle of the traps. I caught it.

    We do have a gopher trap and I have dug out some of the pocket gopher tunnels and when the gophers go to fill where I had dug out then I have shot them. They are everywhere and a nuisance. This one was caught in a trap.

    This is our property not a current picture. Mostly pasture, very few trees. We did take a couple of huge oaks down because they were old and falling apart. Every time we had some significant wind branches would come down. We are on top of a hill.
