Little update:
The chicken shown a small improvement in a week but those 2 balls are still very pronounced so after debating this with the veterinary we are going to give the chicken antibiotics.
Hope this will solve the problem
the veterinary said it would be best to leave the wound open to fresh air since it had pus inside. I am applying betadine once per day. I have just spoken to him by phone, if I suspect something is wrong he can provide antibiotics. the deal is to wait a bit more and see how it goes, hopefully...
the veterinary came today early morning, we have proceeded with the cuts and in fact some pus balls came out. due to work I was out all day and when I got home late at night I have found that the chicken has spilled the whole water bowl inside the dog crate, the pine shavings were all wet, the...
tomorrow the chicken will be seen by a veterinary. he saw the pictures from the cysts and he said on the phone in fact it does not seem normal. so, he explained that will first check with a serynge before proceeding with the cut.
he wants to be sure there is an infection first before cutting...

take another look at the pictures.
I believe that a cut should be...
the bird is moving normally, I only noticed because accidentally saw the swelling from the top.
I will do my best tomorrow and let you know.
thanks for all advice and encouragement. I need both.
ok, I will try it first thing in the morning.
one more question: when the plug comes out, do I need to do some more squeezing? for example in that video we can see a huge piece of rotten flesh coming out after the squeeze.
I am not sure if I can do this. I know this is the only way to help her but just knowing I have to make cuts I already feel nervous about it.
Do you think it is possible to remove the plug without cutting? I will try again tomorrow with more warm water to make it soft and try to remove the...
ok, so I have soaked it in hot (but bearable) water to soften it up.
I removed the outer "shell" but did not venture inside due to being afraid to harm it. please take a look:
shall I dig in deeper? how? I removed the outer shell with my nail (was wearing one glove). as you can see from...
