Update: Definitely a boy!! Started crowing around 9 weeks old. This is a pic from today, Colonel Sanders (my son named him 🤪) is about 15 weeks old now

I haven’t given up that it can still be a female. The comb and wattles haven’t gotten any bigger or deeper in color. No crowing yet! And until I hear it, he/she will just stay put 🙂

I figured such, but still holding out (false) hope it could be a pullet 😂 Unless he’s a quiet roo, I’ll have to get rid of him☹️ By-laws in my town prohibit roosters.

So it’s been almost 2 weeks, any chance it’s not a cockerel? 😂 The comb is definitely pink, can see the start of wattles but not much growth on them. And the Mille Fleur that is see other pics of have much different coloration, will that change after the fall molt?
