6 week old lame overnight. Help?

I'm relatively sure she was hurt in the 4 am stampede when they knocked over their water dispenser and freaked out. Five teen ducks in a small pool/brooder should be fine overnight, but they truly stampede around in circles when they are scared. I think she had already injured herself outdoors...

6 week old lame overnight. Help?

Update: Finally found an exotic animal vet who would look at her. She suspects she has broken knees. Can't tell without a $150 X-ray. The vet doubts that she will ever recover and walk, though we should know by 4 weeks. So... Observing for several weeks as we give her anti-inflammatory meds...

6 week old lame overnight. Help?

Not really, no. She does react more to the right foot being messed with than the left. She is moving wings a bit more. During swim today we could tell the right foot was doing something, but the left 🤔 she can wag her tail, so I suppose that means she isn't paralyzed. Perhaps just something...

6 week old lame overnight. Help?

We have been giving her opportunity to swim in a bin every day. She tolerates it for a few minutes, enjoys ducking her head, but really doesn't seem to move her legs much at all. We will just keep in keeping on, hoping for improvement.

6 week old lame overnight. Help?

My three farm stores don't have that. I have been using a liquid B complex from Walmart, 20 mg niacin per ml. I have been giving her a half dose on peas twice a day with a sprinkling of Brewer's yeast and maybe tuna or her kibble mixed in. She adores the peas. She is wiggling a bit today and...

6 week old lame overnight. Help?

Bumping for attention. Any thoughts? She remains the same today. Happy to chow on her peas. Happy to be pet. Willing to eat and drink. Not. Moving. At. All. Any hope of recovery?

6 week old lame overnight. Help?

She won't walk. At all. Or stand. She just lies in whatever place we put her. While we were sitting with her in the grass this afternoon she did move her legs and wings a little bit when my daughter's border collie breezed by us, but that is about the extent of her movement below her neck.

6 week old lame overnight. Help?

We have 6 ducklings who are 6 weeks old today. They have been raised indoors and we have been in the process of moving them outdoors during the day for the last few weeks. They sleep in a pool surrounded by fencing in our front room and play in a fenced run attached to a shed during the day...
