I have a breeder looking for a Buff Brahma Roo and a Black Americauna Roo - must be NPIP Certified. Throwing it out there if anyone raises them.
Also - a gentlemen came to the Wilton Swap asking if I knew anyone who might have a Rosecomb RIR Roo AND he is looking to rehome a 1 year old...
ok stay tuned to the facebook page - it might rain on Sat and we will have Rain date on Sun - I am going to post it today after I check weather again later - see you soon!
You are still good - chicks bought from feed stores are from hatcheries and they are NPIP tested per federal regulations - do you have baby ducks - I have lots of people asking me where they can find some - if you do post on the Wilton Swap site https://www.facebook.com/groups/358608147587817/...
Just brought back a batch of chicks from April King in NH - such great quality! I have a few avail for sale - can't keep them all! I have Blue Laced Red Wyandottes, Black Copper and Birchen Marans and OliveEggers. Let me know if interested - always nice to have some new bloodlines avail...
Was just wondering that - nothing happening here and I am assuming not there either since you are just up the road. I am still going to Swap in morning regardless - have a few pre-sales. Hope you can come say hi at least.
Had to share this little guy - was so hoping he was going to be a pullet - but alas - obviously not - so am rearranging future plans in case he matures as fabulous as he is right now. He needs a great name as well.....LF Cochin - Mottled and Frizzled!
If you are reffering to Showgirls for the naked necks -then there is a 50% chance of getting a Showgirl naked neck with the hatch assuming it is being bred back to a silkie. I raise them - I think they are great although it seems like most have an instant like or dislike reaction to them.
http://cloverrunmicrofarm.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html Here is how I do it - I have great results and no drowning chicks! :-( I researched a lot and spoke to experienced breeders and they all told me the same thing and it works!
Here is the Wilton Swap/Farmer's Market facebook page It was very cold but a few ventured out and set up - I had some pre-sales so had to go - wrapped it up at around 11:30 - too cold and windy.
