We got more info and turns out she is actually 13 weeks old. Still pretty young to be laying eggs!

The person I got it from said it was 8-9weeks old. That was on May 17th 🤷🏼 There is no possible way my 5 week old chicks laid it. The older chickens are completely shut off from that run and it was thoroughly cleaned before i put the chicks in there.

Y'all what in the world! My husband just found this in the chick run. There are absolutely no Adults in there. I have 5 week old chicks & this 11 week old Silkie. I have never in my life heard of a chicken laying eggs this young.

Honestly I was like "this Chicken Is mothering these babies." I had them seperated for quarentine and this guy/girl kept pecking at the box and chirping everytime it heard the babies. I thought it was just lonely but now they snuggle together and sleep together and the 4 week olds actually try...

He loves the babies 😍 they are almost 4 weeks & he is about 10-11 weeks now.
