I did it quickly and immediately dried the egg!!! I hope it's ok!!! I saw at least a dozen 'dark egg' videos that said to float it and see if it moves on its own..dang it...

I'm also going to scour our house for a stronger flashlight now that I know for sure she's alive in there. Maybe I can get a glimpse inside ... fingers crossed!
