He was certainly a legend. When we visited Australia Zoo recently we were lucky enough to be there on a day when the Croc Show was done by Terri & Wes, accompanied by Bindi and little Bob. I felt very honoured to just be there.

I wouldn't mind a Koala. They are pretty cute... very smelly though, and you can't really do much with them... they won't fetch a ball. They just kinda sit there, eat and sleep.... much like every other native Australian
Yes! It's probably about 20 minutes away, but around here everything is at least 20 minutes away. The folks from there were just so nice, they came with a film crew to catch the extraction on film. It's a great place to visit - the croc show is amazing!
Thanks for your advice and welcomes. I feel inclined to let them go and wait till they are ready to come back. Husband on the other hand feels we need to "take charge" and not let the chickens win, or they will take over and they will never do as they're told I guess that's a guy thing??
